Popcorn Seller | Weekend Farmer | World Traveler
Thomas Clark, 2008I value my faith, my family and my friends. I snare at materialists and grin at those who appreciate simplicity and perfection. I love to read and write - fish and hunt. I have recently added farming to my list of hobbies (at a very amateur rate). I would live outdoors if I could . . . and am glad to finally be living in my tin Cabin in the woods. I appreciate small town innocence and sincerity. I enjoy big city extravagance and culture. I embrace diversity and respect those that respect me. I forgive most and wish I could forgive all. I look forward to many things in life - fathering a child seems the most distant but most important on the list. I'm lousy at love and have found a long moment of contentment in being lonely in my bachelor pad. I enjoy the company of my beagle Burke. Those that know him will agree - - he's one of a kind! I think I'm simple and exposed, . . . people tell me I'm mysterious and complex. I like to laugh and smile. Life is good. I am blessed.
"Happiness is having something to look forward to." Unkown
“Rise early. It is the early bird that catches the worm. Don't be fooled by this absurd saw; I once knew a man who tried it. He got up at sunrise and a horse bit him.” Mark Twain
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth
Then took the other as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet, knowing how way leads onto way
I doubted if I should ever come back
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood
And I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference
Robert Frost
